Onam Celebrations: Reviving Kerala’s Golden Legacy
On September 13th, 2024, Middle Section marked the auspicious occasion of Onam, commemorating the legendary King Mahabali’s reign, synonymous with equality, unity, and prosperity. This festive celebration revived the memories of Kerala’s golden era, where people’s welfare was paramount.
The students and staff created a stunning flower carpet, setting the tone for a vibrant celebration. Traditional games, including lemon race, musical chair, and tug of war, sparked enthusiasm and teamwork among participants.
Students dressed up in traditional Kerala attire, including the majestic Kerala Nadanam and Mahabali costumes, bringing the rich cultural heritage to life. The event offered a unique opportunity for students to connect with Kerala’s customs and traditions.
